"Dash through the Past" 5K and 1 mile fun run will be Chip Timed by RunTIME Racing Services.
The race begins at the Grayson County Frontier Village, and then
returns to the Frontier Village. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Frontier Village.

6:00 am to 7:00 am.
Awards will be presented to the overall male/female and overall male/female masters winners based on chip time.
Awards to the top 3 male/female finishers in each age
group; no duplication of awards. Under 12; 12-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29;
30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-79; 80+
Special Team Awards: One award for the largest team

know that running or walking a road race is a potentially hazardous
activity. I should not enter and run or walk unless I am medically able
and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race
official relative to my ability to safely complete the run or walk. I
assume all risks associated with running or walking in this event
including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants,
the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic
and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and
appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and
in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone
entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release, Grayson County, the
City of Denison, Frontier Village, Run TIME Services, and all sponsors,
their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of
any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even if that
liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the
persons named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the
foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. Race will be held regardless of weather conditions."
Registration is final, no refunds.
On the same day, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., a variety of crafts and shows will be featured inside the Frontier Village
fence, per President Linda Miller. The Dutch Oven Society will be
cooking on the grounds and the Indian Drummers will be performing, plus a
variety of crafts displays such as purses made from grocery bags.
