Welcome to the Grayson County Frontier Village. The best place to start when visiting the Frontier Village is at the Visitor's Center, known as the Museum. It is filled with artifacts, gifts from people throughout Grayson County, books for sale and research material. It also houses the Community Room, that is available for rent and used for meetings, weddings and other events.

Then take a stroll through the past. The Frontier Village is filled with historical homes and artifacts from years past, many photos, mule-drawn farm implements and early hand tools and even a portable jail that housed county prisoners working on roads before 1920.

We hope that you find our site informing, and we love to hear your feedback.  On the site you will find our operating hours, event listings and a brief history about our Village.

We are also available for school/home school field trips and family outings.
